1st & 3rd Thursdays

The brain is just like your muscles of your body.  And like muscles it needs EXERCISE.  The more you work your brain the better it functions.    There are many different ways you can “workout” your brain.  Join former teacher and educator and Active Generations member, Lil Stauffacher as she takes you through four sessions of some great mind aerobic activities.  She will show you how it is important to work out your brain different ways to achieve different results.  Telling or writing stories has been proven to enhance your creativity and imagination.  Putting down your calculator and doing math problems will manually train your working memory.  Solving problems helps your brain deductive reasoning and teaches you to organize your thinking and lateral thinking puzzles will train your brain to “think outside the box”.  This class will be fun, test your brain strength and give you ideas on how to test your brain each and every day.  Join the fun, and get your brain in shape.
